We also made all of the visuals that where broadcast throughout the ceremony. We had 3 months to complete the project, which included concepting, filming, visual effects, then creating 4k resolution files for the OnlyView projection system. An estimated billion people viewed the 20 minute show. The structure was 12m wide and 8m high, each box is 2m sq. We used one 10k HD projector with a 1.1 lens, setup dead center of the structure, this allowed us to hit the sides and the bottoms of the cubes with a single lights source.
